Types of Eye Emergencies
Eye emergencies can happen when you least expect it while at home, work, or playing sports. The eye care professionals at Chester County Eye Care have experience in all types of eye emergencies including:

If you have an eye emergency while our office is closed, you should go to the emergency room or call our main line, (610) 696-1230, to be directed to the on-call doctor.

Many eye emergencies can be prevented with simple safety precautions. You should always wear protective eyewear when playing sports, working with tools and equipment, or using chemicals. If you are a contact lens wearer, proper lens care is important to avoid eye infections. You should also see your eye doctor regularly to ensure any early warning signs of serious conditions are detected before they become an emergency.
